Guardianship Services

Balliliesk International Ltd. offers four seperate levels of guardianship. A comprehensive agreement is provided for each of these services. Please see a brief summary of each of these levels outlined below.

Platinum

For those parents who do not live in the UK and wish for our guardianship services to act on their behalf in a number of ways. Guardianship involves the care of the child when they are not at school by providing a caring guardian family. The guardian family maintains a typical involvement with their school lives, such as going to parent teacher’s meetings & school events, assisting with the purchase of school uniform and acting as a support system for that child during their time abroad. The child can expect the agency’s full support 24 hours a day.

Gold

For those parents who wish for shared responsibility, whereby a relative or friend, resident within the UK, takes joint responsibility for that child. The friend/ relative works with Balliliesk International Ltd. to ensure that all guardianship requirements are fulfilled. This level of guardianship is also available to those parents keen to deal directly with the school on all matters. Gold level Guardianship ensures joint responsibility and the availability of student accommodation during the schools’ half-term.

Silver (16 - 18 year olds)

For those students who have parental permission to make their own arrangements for exeats and half-terms. However, in the event guardianship is required, a guardian family will be found, provided one week’s notice is given. The student will make their own arrangements with regard to airline tickets, airport transfers, visa extensions, hotel or Bed & Breakfast accommodation, or holiday programmes.

Emergency

Emergency guardianship is available for weekend use only, once a term. It may also be used for suspensions or expulsions during term time.
